SolarEdge Nexis, the latest inverter and battery storage offering from SolarEdge Technologies, has been approved on a growing list of U.S. financing platforms, including Palmetto Light Reach, Terra Energy, Maxwell Power (formerly HDM Renewable Finance), Participate Energy, Skylight Lending and IGS Solar.
Together, these platforms represent a broad cross-section of U.S. residential solar financing — spanning TPO, prepaid PPA, and loan products — giving installers and homeowners more ways to access SolarEdge Nexis regardless of how they choose to finance.
“SolarEdge Nexis was designed to redefine what homeowners and installers should expect from a residential solar and storage system, from installation simplicity and scalability to long-term performance and energy resilience,” said Amir Cohen, General Manager of SolarEdge North America. “With broad financing support now in place alongside expanding U.S. manufacturing, we are helping remove key barriers to adoption and enabling installers to deploy advanced home energy systems at scale confidently.”
Launched commercially in Germany for the 3PH grid in March 2026, SolarEdge Nexis is the company’s next-generation residential solar and storage platform, featuring a newly designed high-efficiency inverter architecture, modular “LEGO-like” battery system, full-home backup capabilities and a simplified installation experience. The company is accelerating its North American rollout as installer demand and financing momentum continue to grow.
“Domestic manufacturing is becoming a competitiveness requirement, not just a policy checkbox,” added Cohen. “What the market needs most right now is clarity, not more complexity. Installers and homeowners want trusted technology, dependable financing pathways, and confidence that their systems will continue delivering value for years to come.”
For installers, SolarEdge Nexis introduces a streamlined installation and commissioning experience through an entirely redesigned system architecture featuring a single SKU high-efficiency residential inverter technology supporting up to 13 kW, and 14.5 kW during backup; modular Simple-Click battery architecture with 5-kWh blocks, scalable up to 80 kWh; simplified four-component installation design; and full-home backup capabilities.
Additional financing partner announcements, AVL expansions, and North American availability updates are expected throughout 2026.
