Energy storage technologies manufacturer Fortress Power is partnering with Flip Energy to expand distributed energy resources’ access to virtual power plant (VPP) and grid services programs across the United States and Puerto Rico.

Fortress Power’s energy storage systems already participate in 12 VPP programs nationwide, such as LUMA’s Clean Energy Program (CBES) in Puerto Rico and Rocky Mountain Power’s Wattsmart Battery Program. Flip Energy provides a platform for battery manufacturers, installers, utilities and energy partners to use energy storage systems across grid services.
