StellarNet has expanded its RadiantSuite spectral measurement software, which providers renewable energy professionals with real-time solar spectral irradiance measurement and monitoring tools.
Originally developed as a comprehensive platform for radiometric and photometric measurements, RadiantSuite has evolved into a flexible software environment supporting both laboratory characterization and continuous outdoor solar monitoring applications.
One of the newest capabilities is integrated message queuing telemetry transport (MQTT) communication, allowing live spectral measurements to be securely streamed across local networks or cloud-based monitoring systems. This enables users to remotely monitor changing solar conditions, archive long-term spectral data and integrate measurements directly into environmental monitoring platforms, research facilities and photovoltaic test systems.
To demonstrate these capabilities, StellarNet recently conducted a live solar monitoring demonstration showcasing continuous spectral data streaming using MQTT communication. The demonstration illustrates how researchers and system integrators can deploy compact spectroradiometers for unattended solar measurements while viewing spectral data remotely in real time.
