Shoals Technologies will invest $80 million to relocate and expand its existing manufacturing and distribution operations in Tennessee. The company makes electrical balance of system products for the solar and energy storage markets, including combiner boxes, cabling, connectors and wire harnesses.
Shoals will relocate its manufacturing operations to a new 638,000-ft2 plant at 1500 Shoals Way in Portland, Tennessee. This move just across the street will create approximately 550 new jobs over the next five years and bring the company’s total headcount to 1,400.
