Media Release

Fox ESS made a powerful statement at The Smarter E Europe 2026 in Munich, showcasing not only its latest residential and commercial energy solutions, but also its vision for a smarter, more connected energy future.

The global renewable energy leader attracted significant attention throughout the three-day exhibition, unveiling an immersive AI-powered exhibition space alongside an expanded portfolio of residential, commercial, and EV charging solutions. The event also marked the European debut of the company’s refreshed branding, centred around its mascot, Maimai.

The exhibition proved to be more than just a product showcase. Fox ESS hosted almost 30 signing ceremonies during the event, highlighting the confidence that distributors, installers, and business partners continue to place in the rapidly growing brand.

An exhibition experience powered by AI

Rather than relying on a traditional exhibition stand, Fox ESS created an interactive experience designed to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can improve both customer engagement and energy management.

Visitors were greeted with AI-controlled booth lighting that automatically changed colour depending on real-time visitor numbers. Holographic product presentations helped explain complex technologies, while FoxCloud 2.0 demonstrated intelligent monitoring and management capabilities that optimise entire energy systems.

The newly introduced AI-powered version of Maimai also provided visitors with an engaging way to learn about the Fox ESS ecosystem, reflecting the company’s focus on making renewable energy technology more accessible and interactive.

Together, these features reinforced Fox ESS’ commitment to combining cutting-edge technology with an intuitive customer experience.

Commercial energy storage built for demanding applications

Commercial and industrial energy storage formed a major focus of the Fox ESS display. Leading the range was the G-Max Plus, an all-in-one commercial energy storage solution designed to simplify installation while delivering high performance and reliability.

The integrated design combines battery storage with a smart hybrid inverter, reducing installation complexity without compromising capability. Intelligent battery management helps maximise battery longevity, while sophisticated thermal management improves efficiency and long-term reliability. The system also incorporates a high-performance Power Conversion System (PCS) alongside multiple preventative safety features.

Designed for demanding commercial environments, the G-Max Plus supports solar PV, grid supply, backup loads, and generators. Ultra-fast switching of less than 10 milliseconds ensures seamless operation during outages, while advanced energy management enables Peak Shaving and Load Shedding to reduce operating costs. System monitoring and management are handled through FoxCloud using either Ethernet or 4G connectivity.

Fox ESS also showcased its Power Beast combination, pairing the H3 Plus inverter with the CQ7 battery system. The solution delivers more than six hours of backup capability, switching times below 10 milliseconds, and 100% unbalanced three-phase output. A built-in colour LCD display provides installers and owners with fast access to system information and configuration settings.

Residential solutions continue to raise the bar

Fox ESS also introduced new innovations for homeowners looking to maximise solar self-consumption and backup capability. The PQ3-H3-Ultra modular energy storage solution attracted particular attention thanks to its combination of flexibility, performance, and safety.

The system includes a 63A bypass for whole-home backup, three MPPTs with 20A per string, a minimum PV voltage of 120V, and a minimum battery voltage of 80V. Stackable handles simplify installation, making the system faster and easier to deploy. Safety remains a major priority throughout the design. The system combines active and passive protection features, intelligent AFCI technology, IP66 weather resistance, and Type II DC and AC surge protection.

Homeowners can monitor and manage their system remotely using a smartphone app or web portal, while the platform is also ready for future AI functionality and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) participation.

Performance also speaks for itself. The PQ3-H3-Ultra achieved a System Performance Index (SPI) of 97%, earning the highest ranking in independent evaluations conducted by HTW Berlin and AQUU Research.

Supporting the growing EV market

Electric vehicle charging was another important part of the Fox ESS ecosystem on display.

The A Lite Series EV charger, available in the L07P and L11P models, offers IP55 weather protection and IK08 impact resistance, making it suitable for a wide range of installation environments.

The charger also supports solar integration, dynamic load balancing, OCPP 1.6JSON and 2.0.1 communication protocols, and open MODBUS integration, providing flexibility for both residential and commercial applications.

Compact storage for modern homes

Fox ESS also highlighted the AVO28 Avocado, a compact all-in-one micro storage solution designed for straightforward installations where space is at a premium. The system integrates a hybrid inverter, lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, and built-in Energy Management System (EMS) into a single package.

Built-in fuse protection and an IP65 rating allow the system to be installed outdoors, giving homeowners greater flexibility while maintaining a simple installation process.

Looking ahead

With the company now holding the world’s number one market share in residential energy storage, Fox ESS continues to expand its presence through innovation across every part of the energy ecosystem.

From AI-enhanced customer experiences and intelligent cloud monitoring to advanced commercial storage, residential battery systems, and EV charging, the company demonstrated a clear vision for the future of renewable energy at The Smarter E Europe 2026.

Reflecting on the company’s ongoing growth, Lyren Liu, Chief Commercial Officer of Fox ESS, said:

“As a fast-growing company, we aim to increase the global utilization of free energy, enhance human productivity, and power future technologies, ensuring energy for human progress.”

As demand for smarter, more resilient energy solutions continues to grow worldwide, Fox ESS is positioning itself to remain at the forefront of the global energy transition.
