Fortress Power has launched eSpire Nano, an energy storage system designed for small- to medium-sized commercial and industrial (C&I) applications. It is engineered to deliver commercial-grade performance with the simplicity and speed of residential systems.

The eSpire Nano offers flexible system configurations across 208, 220, 240 and 480 V, along with both AC- and DC-coupling capabilities. Each system is powered by inverters delivering 30 kW or 60 kW of AC output, paired with 40- or 60-kWh battery cabinets, enabling tailored solutions for a wide range of project sizes and energy demands. With both indoor and outdoor installation options and a compact footprint, the system is ideal for space-constrained commercial environments.

To support a wide range of project needs, the eSpire Nano is available in two package options. The Standard package enables rapid deployment with a guided, step-by-step commissioning experience, making it ideal for straightforward installations. The Pro package unlocks advanced capabilities including system modeling, financial analysis, complex utility rate optimization, detailed reporting and virtual power plant (VPP) participation, along with extended support options for more sophisticated projects.

“The eSpire Nano represents a major step forward in making commercial energy storage more accessible,” said Jing Yu, CEO of Fortress Power. “We’ve combined the performance and intelligence required for commercial applications with the speed and simplicity installers expect from residential systems. This creates new opportunities for installers to grow their business and for more businesses to take control of their energy future.”

For documentation and compliance, the eSpire Nano inverter is approved for inclusion on the California Energy Commission (CEC) Solar Equipment List, with listings for the battery and complete energy storage system expected soon
