A 3-MW/12-MWh energy storage project in Lincoln, Nebraska, is nearing final commissioning. The project for Lincoln Electric System features Z3 zinc-based Eos energy storage systems equipped with Wattmore software.

Wattmore’s Intellect Operate system will monitor and control the battery for health, safety and daily operations, as well as provide a customized energy dispatch schedule.
The project supports Lincoln Electric System’s strategic plan, Powering LES Forward, by advancing reliable and resilient infrastructure, strengthening operational flexibility and creating opportunities to manage energy costs through energy storage.
