Anchor Products, the developer of the U-Anchor, has gained FM Approved Certification on a range of its U-Anchor product line-up. FM Approvals is an international third-party testing organization that has conducted property loss prevention product evaluation for more than a century. The FM Approvals’ audit process helps ensure that products continue to meet all the requirements of the test standard or specification.

“This is very exciting news for our Anchor Products organization,” said Joel Stanley, Anchor Products founder and CEO. “As a leader in the industry and the first to achieve FM acceptance, it shows that Anchor Product’s commitment to superior product quality is recognized in the broader marketplace. I am proud of our entire team for gaining the FM Approval Stamp and the way it represents our daily pursuit of excellence across the board.”

FM Approvals is the independent testing arm of international insurance carrier, FM Global. FM Approvals uses engineering research and testing to make sure products conform to standards for safety and property loss prevention.

FM tests property loss prevention products and services — for use in commercial and industrial facilities — to verify they meet rigorous loss prevention standards of quality, technical integrity and performance. This certification process is backed by scientific research and testing and over a century of experience.

“The FM Approved mark is recognized and respected worldwide. The FM Approved Certification instills confidence and commands respect in the marketplace,” Stanley said.
