Racking manufacturer DCE Solar is installing the first Tracker Twin single-axis tracker made with Axial Structural Solutions in the United States.
Twin Tracker from DCE Solar and Axial Structural Solutions.
Tracker Twin is a dual-row, single-axis tracker designed in collaboration between DCE and Axial Structural Solutions, a manufacturer based in Spain. The tracker is being manufactured domestically in the United States.
Tracker Twin is engineered for structural stability and adaptable site configurations for utility scale solar projects. Its dual-row architecture reduces the number of drive units necessary for tracking when compared to other tracker models.
“This installation reflects the confidence we have in our products, our partnerships, and our people,” said Bill Taylor, founder and CEO of DCE. “Our collaboration with Axial allows us to bring a highly engineered tracker platform to the U.S. market while leveraging the strength of DCE’s integrated platform across racking, installation and electrical design. Bringing the Tracker Twin online in the United States is an important milestone, and our teams are executing with the discipline and precision required at this scale.”
The first project using Tracker Twin is being built in New York. DCE Services, its installation branch, is handling mechanical and electrical construction of the project.
