Pegasus, a solar mounting manufacturer, has acquired the North American division of Aerocompact, a global solar racking supplier for commercial and industrial (C&I) markets. Through the acquisition, Pegasus has exclusive license to manufacture and sell the full Aerocompact product line in North America.

Aerocompact manufactures flat roof and ground mount solar racking solutions. Pegasus will offer Aerocompact’s products through it network of over 130 distributors across the United States and Canada.

“Pegasus customers have repeatedly asked us to develop products for the commercial market,” said Kai Stephan, CEO & Founder of Pegasus. “Seeing the unique offerings from Aerocompact, we were impressed by the engineering and saw an opportunity to work together. The product lines, for example the S_Base system, are in direct alignment with our exacting innovation and engineering standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to immediately deliver superior engineered commercial flat roof and ground mount products to our growing customer base across North America.”

As part of the agreement, U.S. Aerocompact employees will join Pegasus, and Pegasus will manage and fulfill all customer orders. Pegasus will also integrate the Aerocompact product suite into Glide, its software platform for project design, planning and procurement.

Aerocompact’s C&I racking line joins Pegasus’ FX system, a ballasted flat roof racking, which the company debuted at RE+ 2025.

“This is a very strong cultural fit between the two companies,” said Sebastian Dresse, CEO of Aerocompact. “We’re very excited for this opportunity to extend the reach of Aerocompact products to a larger market through Pegasus.”
