In a monumental collaboration, Solis, the world’s third-largest PV inverter manufacturer, is proud to announce its partnership with the National Cricket Centre to introduce a revolutionary solar energy installation, marking the largest initiative under the auspices of Cricket for Climate. This landmark project not only celebrates cricketing legends but also spearheads a new era of sustainability in sports.

Located at the iconic venue where cricket legends like Pat Cummins have left their mark, the National Cricket Centre is now poised to become a beacon of green energy. This transformation is powered by Solis’s cutting-edge technology, including advanced inverters and the EPM energy management system, which are pivotal in converting the Centre into an eco-friendly powerhouse.

Join us in celebrating this milestone by watching Solis’ journey unfold here:

Project Details

High-Performance Solar Installation: The system is designed to generate robust energy output that significantly mitigates the NCC’s reliance on conventional power sources, reducing its operational costs by an estimated $50,000 annually.

Carbon Emission Reduction: The project is expected to prevent approximately 398 tons of carbon emissions each year, contributing to a cumulative reduction of nearly 8,000 tons over the project’s anticipated 20-year lifespan.

Collaborative Effort: The project saw key contributions from LONGi Asia-Pacific and OSW, providing critical solar panels and inverter systems that have amplified the project’s scope and impact.
