OutBack Power and EG4 Electronics are now offering separate battery leasing program to homeowners. The OutBack Power Advantage Program and EG4 Advantage Program enable homeowners to access a “professionally owned and managed” battery system for residential use, with installation flexibility and ongoing program services included.

“Homeowners are increasingly looking for dependable backup power, but the path to getting there can be complex,” said Randy Taylor, General Manager of OutBack Power. “The OutBack Power Advantage Program simplifies that process by providing access to a professionally managed battery system under the program, supported by ongoing services and designed for real-world use. With eligibility-based program incentives available for qualified participants, it creates a more accessible path to reliable home energy independence.”

“Energy storage adoption doesn’t scale when systems are complex or inconsistent,” said James Showalter, CEO of EG4 Electronics, which acquired OutBack Power in 2025. “The EG4 Advantage Program creates a standardized, repeatable path to home backup power — one that’s built for real homes, supported by real infrastructure, and available with program-based incentives for eligible participants.”

The two programs are structured to support a range of homeowner needs and installation preferences. Customers can choose between DIY-eligible or installer-led installations, with standardized system bundles provided under the program to meet program eligibility requirements. Energy Access 365 Finance is the program and system services entity supporting the OutBack and EG4 programs, providing monitoring, verification, and operational support for systems deployed under the program.

Solar generation can be paired with the system but is not required and is purchased separately, allowing homeowners to adopt storage independently based on their needs.

The OutBack Power Advantage Program and EG4 Advantage Program are launching with a limited initial rollout and fixed system allocation. Enrollment in both programs will be available through participating distributors and partners, with availability based on capacity and regional eligibility.
