Tracker manufacturer FTC Solar has signed a five-year, 1-GW supply agreement with U.S. developer Strata Clean Energy.

“As we conclude our first 500 MW of 2P projects with Strata, we’re incredibly pleased to be selected to work with them again on an additional 1 GW of future projects,” said Yann Brandt, president and CEO of FTC Solar. “We are proud of our product portfolio, which we believe includes the fastest and easiest-to-install trackers in the marketplace, and we continue to drive innovation to ensure we provide the best products and service to our customers on every project.”
The previous three-year, 500-MW supply agreement was initiated in September 2024, which provided Strata with FTC’s Voyager 2P (two-in-portrait) solar trackers. The first project in this latest supply agreement will start construction in 2027.

We look forward to continuing our working relationship in the years ahead.”
FTC is positioning itself for expanded domestic supply of its solar trackers, citing oncoming foreign entity of concern and domestic content project requirements. The company acquired the remaining stake in Alpha Steel, a previously jointly owned steel factory in Sealy, Texas. FTC was already producing solar tracker components like torque tubes at Alpha Steel.
Additionally, In August, FTC debuted its new Pioneer+ High Wind tracker, a new model of its 1P (one-in-portrait) Pioneer single-axis tracker, designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 150 mph.
