Advanced Maximum Power Point Detection in Case of Partial Shading Conditions
If partial shading occurs, two or more maximum power points (MPP) may be present on the power-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to lock to a local MPP, which may not be the optimum MPP. The innovative SmartSolar algorithm will always maximize energy harvest by locking to the optimum MPP.

The SmartSolar MPPT 150/100-Tr VE.Can comes equipped with extensive electronic protection, including over-temperature protection and power derating when the temperature is high. It also provides PV short circuit and PV reverse polarity protection, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
Bluetooth Smart is built-in, providing a wireless solution to set-up, monitor, update, and synchronize SmartSolar Charge Controllers. The internal temperature sensor and optional external battery voltage, temperature, and current sensing via Bluetooth ensure optimal performance and protection.
VE.Can allows for up to 25 units to be synchronized with VE.Can, and up to 10 units with Bluetooth, providing a scalable solution for larger installations. The remote on-off feature can connect to a VE.BUS BMS, enabling seamless integration with existing systems.
The SmartSolar MPPT 150/100-Tr VE.Can includes a programmable relay that can be set to trip on an alarm or other events, providing additional flexibility and control. For added convenience, consider the optional SmartSolar pluggable LCD display, which can be easily attached to the front of the controller for real-time monitoring and configuration.
