Multiplus-II 12/3000/120-50 2X120V Inverter: The Ultimate Mobile Power Solution

The MultiPlus-II 2x120V is an exceptional one-box mobile solution designed specifically for standard North American 50A 120/240VAC split-phase applications. Whether it is supplied from shore power or a generator, the MultiPlus-II 2x120V can accept and pass through both lines of a 120/240V supply, utilizing the full 50A for charging and AC loads. When connecting to a single-phase 120V supply, the L1 input of the MultiPlus-II 2x120V will accept incoming power for charging and passthrough, while combining the L1 and L2 outputs for single-phase 120V on each line.

Versatile Power Management

The MultiPlus switches to inverter operation when no AC source is available. In inverter mode, it provides 120V single-phase power. The MultiPlus-II 2x120V internally connects both lines L1 and L2 together to ensure that 120VAC is available to loads on either output, regardless of the connection circumstances. This guarantees that both sides of a distribution panel will be supplied with 120V. However, 240VAC is only available when the MultiPlus is supplied by a split-phase 120/240VAC source, preventing heavy loads like water heaters or 240V air conditioners from discharging the battery unnecessarily.

Advanced Features for Optimal Performance

The MultiPlus-II 2x120V includes all the advanced features expected from our versatile inverter/charger range. These features include PowerControl, PowerAssist, Input Current Limit, two AC outputs, and parallel and three-phase configuration capabilities for larger capacity VE.Bus systems. This makes it suitable for LiFePO4 batteries and a variety of other battery technologies, ensuring reliable and efficient power management in various applications.

PowerControl and PowerAssist

The PowerControl and PowerAssist features of the MultiPlus-II 2x120V ensure that your power supply is managed efficiently. PowerControl allows you to set a maximum generator or shore current limit, ensuring that any surplus power is used for charging without overloading the power source. PowerAssist takes this a step further by supplementing the capacity of the alternative power source, using battery power to compensate during periods of peak demand and recharging the battery when the load decreases.

Four-Stage Adaptive Charger

The MultiPlus-II 2x120V features a four-stage adaptive charging process that fine-tunes the charging to the battery’s condition, adding a fourth stage for long periods of float charging. This ensures optimal battery health and longevity. The system can also charge a second battery using an independent trickle charge output, ideal for main engine or generator starter batteries.

WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY

WARRANTY PERIOD

The warranty period varies between 1 to 25 years for different Solartex USA products. The warranty duration begins from the date of purchase by the original consumer. Proof of purchase, such as a sales receipt or other reasonable documentation, is required to establish the start date of the warranty.

LIMITED TO ORIGINAL CONSUMER BUYER

The warranty provided by Solartex USA LLC is limited to the original consumer purchaser and is non-transferable to subsequent owners.

EXCLUSIONS

Our warranty does not apply to products that have been:

  • Misused, abused, modified, or damaged by accident.
  • Used for purposes other than normal consumer use as specified in Solartex USA LLC’s product literature.
  • Repaired by unauthorized personnel or facilities.

Any modified products received for warranty claims will be returned at the customer’s expense.

REPLACEMENTS

Solartex USA LLC will replace any product that fails to operate within 30 days. The replacement assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. If products appear faulty due to inappropriate operation, we can assist with issue resolution but don’t accept returns or replacements. Customers are responsible for accessory and shipping fees.

For damaged parts replacements, please contact us to arrange delivery of the replacement part (under warranty).

RETURN

Solartex USA LLC offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for goods purchased directly from Solartex USA LLC. If you’re not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product within 30 days if it’s unused, undamaged, and unmodified. Return requests outside of 30 days require special authorization.

If a problem occurs within 1 year naturally, Solartex USA LLC will cover repair fees, and the customer covers shipping. Solartex USA LLC is not responsible for after-sale support of products purchased through channels other than those designated by Solartex USA LLC. Customers can purchase accessories from Solartex USA LLC, but after-sale support for accessories is not provided.
