A residential installation in Southern Europe employs one Menred ESS LFP.6144.G4 battery system—comprising four 6.144kWh modules for 24.58kWh usable capacity—connected to two SRNE hybrid inverters operating in parallel mode. The battery group interfaces with the inverter pair through Menred Ess’s G4 centralized control box.

 

In this configuration, the two inverters are synchronized to function as a single AC power source with combined output capacity. The control box provides a unified DC output (up to 300A) to the paralleled inverter input, ensuring consistent voltage and current delivery. Communication between the battery management system and the inverter master unit is maintained via CAN or RS485 protocol.

 

The system supports Wi-Fi monitoring through a mobile application, offering real-time data on state of charge, cell voltages, temperature, and cycle history. An optional touchscreen is available for local status display. The LiFePO₄ cells are rated for over 6,000 cycles at 0.5C and 25°C with 80% depth of discharge.

 

This setup illustrates a typical solar household battery application where higher inverter power is required while maintaining a single, scalable storage unit. Standard warranty is 5 years, extendable to 10 years.
