The MultiPlus-II 2x120V is an exceptional one-box mobile solution designed specifically for standard North American 50A 120/240VAC split-phase applications. Whether it is supplied from shore power or a generator, the MultiPlus-II 2x120V can accept and pass through both lines of a 120/240V supply, utilizing the full 50A for charging and AC loads. When connecting to a single-phase 120V supply, the L1 input of the MultiPlus-II 2x120V will accept incoming power for charging and passthrough, while combining the L1 and L2 outputs for single-phase 120V on each line.

Advanced Inverter and Charger Capabilities
The MultiPlus-II 2x120V is equipped with advanced inverter and charger functionalities, making it an ideal solution for various power management needs. Inverter mode ensures 120V single-phase power when no AC source is available. It intelligently connects L1 and L2 lines to ensure consistent 120VAC is available to all connected loads, even in diverse connection scenarios. This design ensures that both sides of a distribution panel are supplied with 120V, while preventing unnecessary battery discharge by limiting 240VAC availability to when a split-phase 120/240VAC source is present.

Efficient Power Management
The PowerControl and PowerAssist features of the MultiPlus-II 2x120V ensure that your power supply is managed efficiently. PowerControl allows you to set a maximum generator or shore current limit, ensuring that any surplus power is used for charging without overloading the power source. PowerAssist takes this a step further by supplementing the capacity of the alternative power source, using battery power to compensate during periods of peak demand and recharging the battery when the load decreases.
Four-Stage Adaptive Charger
The MultiPlus-II 2x120V features a four-stage adaptive charging process that fine-tunes the charging to the battery’s condition, adding a fourth stage for long periods of float charging. This ensures optimal battery health and longevity. The system can also charge a second battery using an independent trickle charge output, ideal for main engine or generator starter batteries.
