Distributed energy products manufacturer Mango Power is launching a new microinverter for the U.S. residential solar market. Mango Power S Pro Microinverter 5000 W is sold as a set of 10 500-W microinverters, each with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) capabilities and a 25-year warranty.

S Pro eliminates the intermediate DC-DC conversion stage often found in two-stage microinverter, meaning it converters DC power into AC directly from the solar panel. Its MPPT system helps mitigate losses related to module shading.
S Pro microinverters are housed in IP68/NEMA 69 enclosures, which are designed to resist dust and can perform while submerged in water. The enclosure is fabricated with an electrically non-conductive polymer. The microinverters have operating temperature ranges from -40°F to 149°F.
The system uses a 100-microsecond rapid shutdown second to de-energize and reduce the risk of DC arc faults for first responders. S Pro is certified for UL 1741-SB, California Rule 21 and CSA C22.2. Each microinverter uses built-in Wi-Fi MESH communication for system commissioning and ongoing performance monitoring without separate communication gateways, power-line carrier modules or wired data buses.
S Pro’s modular architecture makes it possible to scale solar installations incrementally, meaning they can replace or add microinverters and modules on existing arrays.
