A residential solar energy system integrates two Menred ESS LFP.1433.F units, each rated at 14.33kWh, for a combined usable capacity of 28.66kWh. The configuration represents a practical application of a lifepo battery system for homes requiring extended evening power or backup during grid interruptions.

The two battery units are connected in parallel to a single Deye hybrid inverter, forming a unified 51.2V DC storage bank. Proper DC cabling and overcurrent protection are implemented to ensure safe current sharing, with a total maximum continuous discharge current of 280A (140A per unit). This setup supports inverters up to 8,000W.

Each LFP.1433.F contains LiFePO₄ cells rated for over 6,000 cycles at 0.5C and 25°C with 80% depth of discharge. Communication between the battery management system and the inverter is established via CAN or RS485 protocol, selectable on the battery’s touchscreen interface. Real-time monitoring—including state of charge, cell voltages, temperature, and cycle count—is available locally and remotely via Wi-Fi.

The system is designed for long-term residential use, with dimensions of 900×400×260mm and weight of 115kg per unit, allowing for floor or wall mounting in utility rooms. Standard warranty is 5 years, with a 10-year option available. As a modular solution, the configuration can be expanded to up to 16 units (229.29kWh) when future energy demands increase.
