A residential solar installation utilizes two Menred ESS LFP.6144.G2 battery systems. Each unit contains two 6.144kWh modules, delivering 12.28kWh of energy capacity and 11.66kWh of usable capacity at 95% depth of discharge. Combined, the system provides 24.56kWh of total energy storage.
Each LFP.6144.G2 is connected to a dedicated SRNE hybrid inverter via its own centralized control box. This 1:1 architecture allows for independent operation — if one inverter requires servicing, the other continues supporting household loads without interruption.
The G2 control box supports up to 240A charge/discharge current, compatible with 12kW inverters. Communication is handled via CAN or RS485 protocol, with optional Wi-Fi monitoring through a mobile app for real-time data on voltage, SOC, and cycle count. An LED or touchscreen interface is available for local status display.
The LiFePO₄ cells are rated for ≥6,000 cycles at 0.5C and 25°C. The system is designed for long-term residential use, with a 5-year standard warranty (extendable to 10 years).
This configuration demonstrates a practical house battery solution — modular, scalable, and engineered for consistent daily performance.
