A residential solar energy system integrates one Menred ESS LFP.1433.F unit, rated at 14.33kWh, connected in parallel to a single Deye hybrid inverter. This configuration provides a practical lifepo battery solution for homes seeking dependable self-consumption and short-duration backup without over-provisioning capacity.
The unit operates at a nominal 51.2Vdc (44.8–57.6Vdc range) and supports a maximum continuous charge/discharge current of 140A, compatible with hybrid inverters up to 8,000W. It utilizes cobalt-free LiFePO₄ cells and is certified to UN38.3 and MSDS standards for safe transport and handling. Cycle life exceeds 6,000 at 0.5C and 25°C with 80% depth of discharge.
Communication with the inverter is established via CAN or RS485 protocols. On the LCD touchscreen variant, users can manually select among 27+ inverter brands—including Deye—to ensure protocol compatibility without external converters. Real-time monitoring of state of charge, cell voltage, temperature, and cycle count is available via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth-enabled mobile application.
Physical dimensions are 900 × 400 × 260 mm, weight 115 kg, designed for floor installation. The enclosure meets IP21 protection (against solid objects >12.5 mm). Operating temperature range is –10°C to +50°C for discharge and 0°C to +50°C for charge.
As a modular lifepo battery system, it can be expanded—up to 16 units may be paralleled, achieving 229.29kWh. Standard warranty is 5 years, with a 10-year option available for qualified installations.
